1964 - Rickenbacker 40001-S ( used this one on most of R.Soul)

1965 - Martin D-28 Acoustic (used on Yesterday,etc.)

1958 - Rickenbacker Capri 325(in 1963,he made it black for the Sullivan Show)

1965 - Gretch Nashville - only used this in the studio,recorded "Paperback Writer"with it)

1966 - Epiphone Casino Hollowbody. ( used this one also in "Let It Be")

1964 - Going back to 64' - he got another Capri, this time a 12 STRING - 325 while in 64',all 3 got Epiphone Casino's.(the guitar solo in "Ticket To Ride" was played on this guitar)

1965 - Fender Stratacaster (played on "Nowhere Man,etc.) (John also received around that time a Fender 6 string bass guitar.which he used in "Let It Be")

1967 - Martin D-28 Acoustic (used in the "Hello Goodbye" video)

1968 - Fender Telecaster with a rosewood finish.

1969 - Unknown brand of a Lapsteel guitar. Some Euro.brand. ( used it on "For You Blue")

1958 - 1959 - Gretch Duo Jet PX-6128 ( the one used on the 1st sessions ) also had an Epiphone Casino.

1963 - Gretch Country Gentleman PX-6122 ( 1st he used this on was "She Loves You )

1963 - Rickenbacker Black JetGlo #425

1964 - Gtetch Tennessean PX-6119 ( played on "I'm A Loser","Don't Want to Spoil the Party",etc. )

1964 - Rickenbacker 360-12 Fireglo 12 String. ( Played on "Hard Day'sNight",etc. )

1965 - Rickenbacker 360-12 Fireglo 12 String ( with a new rounded top,and an "R" on the tailpiece )

1965 - Gibson ES-345 Sunburst

1966 - Gibson SG- Standard ( the one used on "Paperback Writer" )

1968 - Fender Telecaster w/ Rosewood Finish

1968 - Gibson J-200 Acoustic

1968 - Gibson Les Paul Given to him from Eric Clapton.

1968 - Fender Jazz Bass

1968 - He bought a Synthesizer for recording "Abbey Road"
